November Google post ideas for plumbers

November brings the first freezes and a house full of holiday guests. These four post ideas give a plumbing company one useful Google post a week for the month.

Four weeks of ideas

  1. Seasonal tip: protect pipes before the first hard freeze. Disconnect garden hoses, shut off and drain outdoor faucets that have an inside valve, and open cabinet doors under sinks on outside walls on the coldest nights.
  2. Question and answer: "Where is my main water shut-off?" Explain where it's commonly found and why every household should know before an emergency.
  3. Service spotlight: water heater repair or replacement. Signs worth a call: not enough hot water, rusty water, rumbling or popping, or water around the base.
  4. Holiday reminder: go easy on the kitchen drain. Grease, food scraps and extra guests are hard on drains and disposals. Keep it practical and friendly.

Have a fifth week? Use a local angle: name your town and the first cold stretch of the season there.

Before the first hard freeze: protect your pipes.

Disconnect garden hoses, shut off and drain outdoor faucets if you have an inside valve, and open cabinet doors under sinks on outside walls on the coldest nights. Know where your main water shut-off is before you need it.
