November Google post ideas for roofers

Late fall is when small roof problems show up as stains on the ceiling. These four post ideas give a roofing company one useful Google post a week for November.

Four weeks of ideas

  1. Seasonal tip: a quick look before winter. What a homeowner can safely check from the ground: missing or lifted shingles, debris in valleys, sagging gutters. Remind them not to climb on a wet or icy roof.
  2. Service spotlight: leak repair or roof inspection. Signs worth a call: water stains on ceilings, damp attic insulation, daylight through roof boards, granules piling up below downspouts.
  3. Local angle: after the last fall storm. Name your town and the kind of weather the season brings there. Never invent a specific storm or event.
  4. Question and answer: "Can you work on a roof in winter?" Answer honestly for your business: what you can do in cold weather and what waits for a dry day.

Gutter work too? Swap in a post about clearing leaves and checking downspouts.

Before winter, give your roof a quick look from the ground.

Walk around the house and look for shingles that are missing, curled or lifted, and for branches or leaves piled in the valleys. Inside, check ceilings and the attic for new stains or damp spots. Small problems are easier to fix before snow and ice.
